Premier’s Department Executive Assistant Sydney NSW - Full time Expressions of interest are invited from ongoing and temporary employees within the NSW Public Sector who wish to be considered for this Ongoing role. About the role The NSW Government is currently recruiting for future vacancies in our NSW Ministerial Offices. A role in a Ministerial Office as the Executive Assistant allows you to engage in rewarding and impactful work within a supportive and innovative setting, helping to shape a brighter future for yourself, your loved ones, and businesses in NSW. You will manage the Minister’s diary, schedule, events, meetings, travel, and disclosure obligations, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, including meeting room coordination and office supplies. Liaise with Departmental Liaison Officers and advisers to respond promptly to correspondence and enquiries from the public and Members of Parliament and provide general administrative support to the Minister and office as required. The roles are full-time and office-based which are located at 52 Martin Place Sydney and Parliament House. We’re Looking For Prioritisation: Demonstrates proficiency in handling multiple tasks simultaneously, remaining composed in demanding situations while ensuring sensitive information is treated with utmost confidentiality. Communication Effectively: Exhibits strong verbal and written communication, excellent organisational ability, and a meticulous approach to tasks, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all aspects of work. Stakeholder collaboration: Skilled at working effectively with a wide range of people, fostering positive relationships and facilitating productive engagement across diverse groups. Adaptability: Able to adjust quickly to changing circumstances, maintain resilience under pressure, work flexibly, and consistently seek opportunities for professional development and process enhancement. NSW Government and Political awareness: Brings knowledge of NSW Government operations, with an understanding of the political landscape and its influence on ministerial work.
