Executive Assistant Clerk Grade 5/6 Temporary Full-time (up to 8 months, with potential to become ongoing) Location: Hybrid working arrangements available across Sydney CBD, Parramatta or Gosford, with office attendance required 2–3 days per week. About the Role NSW Fair Trading is seeking a capable and motivated Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive and administrative support within the Office of the Executive Director, Strategy, Policy and Delivery Branch.Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by delivering professional, timely and confidential executive support. This is a temporary opportunity offering immediate impact, business continuity and the chance to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will: - Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Director - Manage complex executive diaries, correspondence and records with discretion and sound judgement - Prepare high-quality correspondence, agendas, minutes, briefings and presentations for senior stakeholders - Coordinate meetings, priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Quickly understand existing processes and implement practical improvements to support efficient operations and effective handover - Support informed decision-making through strong organisation, analysis and attention to detail About you You are a proactive and adaptable professional who can confidently step into a temporary role and operate with a high level of autonomy. You thrive in a team environment, learn quickly and are comfortable working in a changing and flexible workplace.
