What's the role? Are you a commercially astute, highly organised, and proactive Executive Assistant looking to make a significant impact within Australia's leading media organisation? News Corp Australia is seeking a dynamic individual to provide dedicated, high-level support to two pivotal business leaders: our General Manager, Client Delivery, Ad Tech & Programmatic, and General Manager Digital, within our Client Partnerships team. This is a unique opportunity to embed yourself within a critical commercial function, collaborating within a supportive national team to ensure seamless operations and contribute directly to the organisation's influential media initiatives. You will be instrumental in enabling our General Managers to drive client success and strategic growth, operating at the forefront of media innovation. This role is based in either our Surry Hills, Sydney, or Southbank, Melbourne offices. What is the role? Provide comprehensive administrative and day-to-day support to both General Managers within the News Corp Client Partnerships team. Expertly manage complex diaries, prioritise meetings and calls, coordinate event invitations, and meticulously arrange all travel requirements. Proactively gather and prepare essential documents and correspondence to ensure General Managers are fully equipped for all engagements. Support the Client Partnerships team with the organisation and planning of local events and team-building activities, fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure regular and effective meetings are scheduled with direct reports and other key business relationships, facilitating strong partnerships. Carry out day-to-day ad hoc tasks, such as managing office and software supplies, rewards programs, and maintaining accurate records databases, to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Manage financial approval requests, department purchase orders, and invoices, meticulously tracking against budgets. Who are you? Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced, commercially-driven environment. Previous experience within the media sector is highly preferred, offering valuable context to the role. Detail-oriented with outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of conveying information clearly and concisely. Possess a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong decision-making capabilities, and a proven ability to show initiative. Able to work effectively to tight deadlines, expertly juggle multiple priorities, and thrive in a busy, collaborative work environment. Solid administrative and computer skills, with strong proficiency across Google Suite and MS Office.
