The private office of the Chief Operating Officer delivers an intelligent, high-functioning executive support model to the COO responsible for strategic, operational and logistical activities and advising on all aspects of the role. It is a small team who ensure the COO has what they need to deliver outcomes and achieve change . As Executive Assistant you will be a pivotal player as part of a small high-performing Private Office team for the Chief Operating Officer of NHS England. The COO directorate is one of the largest in NHS England spanning a wide range of high-profile programmes including UEC, electives, and supporting challenged systems through the Recovery Support Programme. You will support the Chief Operating Officer and the team to deliver a broad list of tasks that will change from day to day, including managing the COO’s diary and other logistics.
