We’re a small, fast-paced recruitment company in Hove working mostly with US tech startups and scaleups. Our current Operations Manager is going on maternity leave and we’re looking for someone to step in as the right hand to the Founder and keep things running smoothly while she’s away. This role will start mid-September to allow for a proper handover before she goes. While this role is initially maternity cover, there may be opportunity for the right person to continue beyond this period.
This role blends classic EA responsibilities with office and operations management. It’s hands-on and varied: one day you could be coordinating interviews across time zones, the next you’re formatting resumes into our house style or sorting a supplier issue for the office. We’re scrappy, collaborative, and everyone wears multiple hats from operations and finance to logistics and client support.
While we don’t officially work US hours, we do support US-based clients, so occasional evening availability would be ideal.
