Culture & Events: Partner on the execution of team-building events, local office lunches, and assist with other internal and external events. Special Projects: Take ownership of administrative projects, from internal communications to document preparation. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN TEAM MEMBERS The "Inches" Mentality - You notice the small things, like a dying office plant, a typo in a memo, or a scheduling conflict, and fix them before they become issues. Scrappy & Agile - You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to experiment as we scale our Detroit presence. Client Obsessed - You treat every team member and visitor like a VIP client, seeking to amaze them with every interaction. Extreme Ownership - You embody accountability and ownership by taking the initiative to solve problems without being asked. Adaptability - You are flexible and adaptable to changes needs, last minute pivots, and a dynamic environment. WHAT YOU HAVE Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar administrative role in a fast-growing company. High proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Slides) and Slack. Strong organizational skills with a "measure twice, cut once" approach to logistics. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you can distill complex plans into simple updates. The ability to be in-office 5 days a week to maintain our physical office. WHAT WE VALUE @ SIGNAL These are the values that drive how we operate and make decisions. 🌔 We’re obsessed with finding a better way. Never settle for less. 🏃 We act with a sense of urgency. We use our best judgment to act urgently on the right things at the right time. 👀 We raise our level of awareness. Everything starts with awareness. We’re curious and alert to what is happening around us. 🏈 We find inches everywhere around us. There are thousands of opportunities to make an impact. We take those opportunities and act. 🧭 We do the right thing. Sticking to the highest standard of integrity is not optional. 💪 We have strong opinions, loosely held. It’s not about WHO is right, it’s about WHAT is right. ❓ Simplicity is Genius. Simplicity doesn’t just clarify; it makes things better for everyone. It’s that simple. 🙏 Ideas are valued, execution is worshiped. Great ideas get you to the 50-yard line; outstanding execution gets you into the end zone. 🪞 We are the "they". There is no "they". We are empowered to fix things, to be proactive, to find a solution. 🚀 We launch big ideas and then obsess over feedback to learn how we can make it even better.
