This position may require flexibility of hours. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, with some college level business and / or secretarial courses. Notary certificate desirable. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Three to five years increasingly responsible office management or secretarial experience at an executive level, with hospital experience or knowledge of medical terminology preferred. SKILLS: Posses a mastery of office skills; excellent word processing skills (I.e. MS Word), at least 60-70 words per minute accurately; ability to operate a 10-key calculator by sight; ability to transcribe from a Dictaphone, take meeting minutes using shorthand or speedwriting; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to manage time, work independently on work assignments, exercise initiative and judgment; possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to maintain professional level of comportment and be sensitive to issues of confidentiality, flexibility to coordinate various projects, people and demands; ability to work in a fast paced environment, must be flexible and willing to change tasks to meet department demands; excellent organization skills required. ‎ Job Title: Executive Assistant ‎ Department: Office Of Philanthropy ‎ Shift Duration: 8 ‎ Primary Shift: Days ‎ Time Type: Full time ‎ Location: 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105 ‎ Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $38.00 - $57.00.
