JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

The Executive Assistant is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day clerical operations and developing and maintaining customer relationships to drive growth for key hospital services. The Executive Assistant maintains files, correspondence, generates reports, answers incoming calls and directs them appropriately.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years progressively responsible clerical experience
  • Experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Typing speed of 75 wpm and excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Excellent computer skills required

Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative support functions (i.e. calendar management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, report generation, correspondence, etc.).
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the administrative office.
  • Act as a liaison between department staff and the senior management team.
  • Coordinate committees, meetings, etc. including scheduling, agenda, taking/typing minutes, etc. as requested.
  • Maintain administrative files and other correspondence as indicated.
  • Serve as ambassador of administration by providing high level of customer service (i.e. polite & professional telephone etiquette, prompt response to physician needs & requests, prompt & courteous response to all customer needs and/or concerns, etc.).
  • Coordinate and manage other administratively directed functions as assigned.
