The Central Otago District Council is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our Group Manager – Planning and Infrastructure and the Planning and Infrastructure Team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Executive Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Group Manager – Planning and Infrastructure by providing top-notch administrative support. You’ll be the go-to person in our team ensuring seamless communication for our staff and stakeholders. Ultimately you will be a team player that thrives in all things relating to people and wants to make a positive difference in our organisation.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Alexandra. You will be a part of the Planning and Infrastructure team that believes the best outcomes come through collaboration and partnership.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Equivalent workplace experience in a similar role
  • A qualification in administration (or similar)
  • Hold a New Zealand Drivers License
  • Have strong organisational skills.
  • Be flexible, adaptable and enjoy a challenge
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team and to deadlines.
