Full time, fixed term or secondment opportunity until June 2026, located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of Life and Environmental Sciences (SOLES) Opportunity to be part of a School with a rich multidisciplinary environment and work closely with the Head of School Base Salary $103,185 - $111,237 (HEO6) + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The School of Life and Environmental Sciences (SOLES) is welcoming applications for an experienced Executive Assistant and Project Officer to provide the full suite of professional executive support services, ensuring the specific needs and day to day requirements of the office are managed in highly efficient, effective and timely manner. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide broad, high level professional executive support to the Head of School including effective management of calendar and administrative workflows manage head of school specific administrative projects builds and manages effective working rapport with key stakeholders and staff across the University and with external stakeholders provide advice and support in relation to school events ensure quality application of, and compliance with, University administration policies and procedures. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for an Executive Assistant and Project Officer who has: a tertiary qualification in business and/or relevant business administration experience excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with extensive diary management experience excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
