Description
Primary Purpose Provide comprehensive executive level administrative support to an executive of the organization and their department to help facilitate the executive's ability to effectively lead the department and the organization, including: assisting with special projects; designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties; composing and preparing correspondence; maintaining contact lists; making travel arrangements; and completing expense and mileage reports. Duties and Responsibilities * Provide sophisticated calendar management for an executive of the organization. Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements. * Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the executive, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature. Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, and/or response. * Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations and facilitate all aspects of department management. * Act as a liaison and provide support to other Sempra executives and their administrative assistants. * Oversee executive related meetings and event logistics to include scheduling meetings; drafting agendas; developing, compiling, and distributing presentation material. * Coordinate department meetings and events with direct reports and prepare meeting minutes as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties). Qualifications Education * Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience required. Experience * 7+ years of experience in Executive Assistant level supporting a C-level executive with the ability to execute work with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to meet deadlines through effective time management. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Advanced organization skills. * Ability to multitask and complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance. * Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions regarding priorities and timelines. * Ability to act proactively and be self-directed. * Good interpersonal skills. * Good initiative, judgment, independent decision making and service skills.
