Description

WHO WE ARE

At Serval, we’re building the AI platform for IT teams. Our goal is to take on legacy players like ServiceNow, a $230+ bn company, by deploying AI agents to resolve IT issues instead of humans.
Serval “automates the automation,” using a natural language-to-code workflow builder and AI agents that discover and deliver automations for tedious IT workflows.
Our mission is to free IT departments from the #helpdesk channel by creating the simplest way to automate employee onboarding/offboarding, software access management, and the long tail of employee requests. Long term, our vision extends to developing a universal workflow automation platform for all business functions.
Serval was founded by product and engineering leaders from Verkada and is backed by industry-leading investors like First Round, General Catalyst, Alt Capital, and Box Group.

STRONG WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

  • Comfortable building relationships across all levels of a company.
  • Eager to help and build our culture: fun, good people, excellence in craft, velocity (we have a sense of urgency).
  • Fully onsite in our San Francisco office, 5 days/week.

ROLE OVERVIEW

At Serval, we’re building the autonomous AI workforce for modern IT — and we move fast. As our first Executive Assistant & Office Manager, you’ll be the force multiplier for our CEO, CTO, and COO, keeping the leadership team focused on what matters most while ensuring the office runs like clockwork.
You’ll own everything from complex scheduling and event logistics to culture-building moments that make Serval an incredible place to work. Some days you’ll be deep in investor meeting prep; other days you’ll be orchestrating a company offsite, managing a vendor move, or rolling up your sleeves to make sure the kitchen is stocked and the office is sparkling.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-energy environments, loves variety, and can seamlessly shift between strategic and hands-on work. If you want to help shape the heartbeat of a fast-growing startup, you’ll feel right at home here.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Streamline Executive Operations. Keep the CEO, CTO, and COO operating at maximum efficiency by managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, preparing materials, and ensuring priorities are always clear and aligned.
  • Champion Culture & Office Experience. Create a productive, welcoming, and well-stocked environment for the team. Handle daily office operations from snack restocking and recycling to tidying common areas while building moments that strengthen Serval’s culture. As office needs evolve, you’ll be the point person for relocation & setup.
  • Plan & Execute Company Events. Own the logistics for offsites, all-hands, and key GTM events. From venue selection to catering, A/V setup, and materials, you’ll ensure every detail is handled and the experience is on point.
  • Own Projects from Idea to Execution. Identify operational gaps and opportunities, propose solutions, and take them from concept through to measurable outcomes. You’ll be trusted to run with projects that make Serval faster, more organized, and more effective.
  • Facilitate Communication & Follow-Through. Prepare meeting agendas and presentations, capture notes, track decisions, and follow up on action items so nothing slips through the cracks. Join select meetings to ensure clarity and alignment across the company.
  • Support Team Growth & Onboarding. Coordinate onboarding for new hires to ensure they feel welcome, set up, and connected from day one. Partner with leadership to keep the team engaged and aligned as we scale.
