About the role We have a part-time (32 hours) opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll partner with our Chief People and Strategy Officer (CPSO) and their senior leadership team to drive the smooth running of the People & Strategy business units. You’ll play a key role in supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic priorities — managing calendars and inboxes, coordinating administration, and providing support across internal projects to help deliver business outcomes. Represent the CPSO ensuring professionalism and independent decision-making for smooth workflow. Manage complex calendars and emails proactively. Draft and send communications. Ensure consistency in formatting of documents to a high standard of presentation. Plan and manage travel itineraries and accommodation. Handle meeting logistics, including agendas, papers, minutes, action points, and booking meeting rooms. Process and approve expenses and leave requests. Assisting with preparation of agendas and papers for meetings, including relevant management governance forums, ensuring these are submitted in a timely manner. Taking accurate minutes and action points. Organising events and catering for the business unit and enterprise-wide workshops. Provide support to the wider EA team to cover absences and leave. About you: This is a fast paced and varied role, but with your solid executive experience of providing support at a senior level, you'll take it in your stride and exceed at developing the role and making it your own. Professional with experience (minimum 5 years) providing support at Executive level or senior administration roles in large organisations. Superior organisational, prioritisation and follow-up skills Proficient calendar management and Microsoft suite skills including Co Pilot Demonstrable ability to handle confidential information with discretion and care. Demonstrable ability to manage stakeholders with varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines, always upholding the reputation and organisation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, senior executives and government representatives, coupled with the ability to exercise initiative with discretion.
