As result of our recent change process and the creation of our four new Groups, there are two vacancies for Executive Assistants in; Strategy, Partnerships and Growth and the Chief Operating and Financial Office.

Responsibilities

TE TŪRANGA | ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Executive Assistant you will provide high-quality executive support, administrative leadership, project coordination, and procurement oversight to the assigned General Manager and related work groups.

Some key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Ensuring efficient systems, financial and purchasing governance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process improvements.
  • Leading their assigned administration team to ensure transparency, compliance, and value for money in all processes.
  • Plan events, functions and stakeholder engagements, ensuring operational success.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Relevant administrative qualification (such as NZQA National Certificate Level 4) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior administrative or managerial role, demonstrating a strategic and customer-centric approach to service delivery
  • Proven Leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff, and deliver constructive training
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, system administration i.e. SAP, and information management
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, invoice processing, and procurement governance
  • Proven ability in scheduling, event coordination, and stakeholder management
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and process optimization, with the ability to navigate complex environments with discretion and awareness
