Description
About OpenFX OpenFX is building next-generation cross-border payment infrastructure for institutions. We process billions in monthly payment volume across five jurisdictions and we're scaling fast. We've raised over $170M in venture capital, hold money transmission licenses in the US, and are actively pursuing regulatory authorizations in the EU, UK, UAE, Brazil, and beyond. Our team is ~100 people today across Bangalore, Amsterdam, London, Miami, and Dubai, and we expect to roughly double this year. Our CEO, Prabhakar, operates across multiple time zones, geographies, and high-stakes workstreams simultaneously — investor relations, regulatory strategy, product direction, and key partnerships. As we scale from ~100 to 200+ people this year, the demands on his time will only increase. We need an exceptional EA to be his operational right hand. The Role We're hiring an Executive Assistant to support our CEO. This is not an entry-level EA role or an office management position. We are looking for someone with 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with direct experience supporting C-suite executives at high-growth startups or fast-scaling technology companies. You should have been through the chaos of a company scaling quickly and know how to create order out of it. You would be based in Bangalore and report to the COO. You will be the CEO's primary point of operational support: managing his calendar across global time zones, coordinating travel, preparing briefing materials, tracking action items from leadership meetings, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving environment. The right person for this role is someone who has supported founders or C-level executives at startups that were growing fast — companies where priorities shift quickly, context-switching is constant, and the EA is a true force multiplier rather than a scheduler. If your experience is primarily at large, stable corporations with established support structures, this will feel very different. Key Responsibilities Manage the CEO's calendar across global time zones (India, US, EU, UK, UAE), proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring optimal time allocation aligned to company priorities. Coordinate complex international travel logistics including flights, visas, accommodations, and ground transportation across multiple jurisdictions. Prepare briefing documents, meeting agendas, and pre-reads for board meetings, investor meetings, regulatory discussions, and internal leadership syncs. Track and follow up on action items from executive meetings, ensuring accountability across the leadership team. Manage information flow to and from the CEO — triaging communications, flagging urgent matters, and ensuring the right people have the right context. Coordinate logistics for leadership offsites, board meetings, and key company events. Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion. Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal teams, external partners, investors, and board members. What We Are Looking For Must-haves: 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with direct experience supporting CEO or C-suite executives. Prior experience at high-growth startups or fast-scaling technology companies is required. You need to have operated in environments where things move fast, priorities shift, and you're expected to anticipate needs before they're articulated. Expert-level calendar and time management skills across multiple global time zones. Experience coordinating complex international travel across multiple countries and jurisdictions. Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. High discretion and mature judgment in handling confidential information. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to operate independently with minimal direction. What helps you stand out: Experience supporting a CEO or founder at a fintech, payments, or financial services company. Experience working in a globally distributed company across India, US, and European time zones. Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and Rippling. Experience preparing board materials and investor meeting logistics. Prior experience in a company that scaled from under 100 to over 200 people. What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package benchmarked to your location. Equity in a rapidly growing company. Opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup at the forefront of fintech innovation. Opportunity to make a significant impact on global financial infrastructure. Collaborative work culture with emphasis on personal and professional growth. Compensation Competitive base salary benchmarked to Bangalore market rates, plus equity. We'll share specific ranges during the process. How to Apply Send your resume along with a short note on why this role interests you and your relevant experience supporting executives at high-growth companies. We value directness over polish. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant will serve as the CEO's primary operational support, managing a complex global calendar, coordinating international travel, preparing essential briefing materials, and meticulously tracking action items from leadership meetings.
