EA to EGM Finance and Head of Legal
Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking for a flexible part-time (30.4 hours) opportunity? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to support our Finance and Legal departments. This permanent role offers the chance to work closely with senior leaders in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
About the Role
As the Executive Assistant to the EGM Finance and Head of Legal, you will be the trusted partner, providing high-level administrative and organisational support to both the EGM Finance and
the Legal Department. You will manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, prepare documentation, and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.

Operating in an organised and expeditious manner within compressed deadlines, the key focus includes:

  • Provide a high – level executive support to the EGM Finance and Head of Legal, including diary and email management, travel coordination, and general office administration.
  • Prepare a range of reports (including Board and Committee reports), presentations to support the EGM Finance and Head of Legal and the respective functions.
  • Assist with Legal Intake and coordination of workload and administer the Legal matter management system.
  • Manage a range of financial processes including expenses, payroll, invoices etc. to support the EGM Finance and the Head of Legal and the respective functions.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have proven professional experience supporting senior leadership roles, and an ability to stay one step ahead of the workflow. While not essential, an understanding of the tenets of The Salvation Army or prior working history in a faith-based organisation would be favourable.

Key capabilities and requirements of the role:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience as an Executive Assistant is mandatory.
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration (desired) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Solid level of computer literacy particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work decisively under pressure, with a sense of urgency and the capability to work autonomously.
