Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Executive Assistant (EA) will act as a key support to the CEO, ensuring efficient handling of strategic and operational priorities, maintaining oversight of key initiatives, and managing communication across stakeholders. This role is central to enabling the CEO to lead effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Executive Support
· Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements.
· Prioritise and respond to communications on behalf of the CEO (emails, calls, correspondence).
· Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, board packs, and presentation materials.
· Take minutes and follow up on actions from meetings including, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and external partner meetings.
· Project & Operational Support
· Coordinate and monitor progress on key projects led by or involving the CEO.
· Act as liaison between the CEO and other internal departments, external stakeholders, and council officers.
· Assist with preparation and oversight of documents related to company strategy, public sector contracts, and care technology proposals.
· Governance & Compliance
· Support with governance obligations, including scheduling Board meetings, compiling agendas, and tracking compliance documentation.
· Ensure the CEO remains informed of key statutory obligations, risks, and deadlines.
· Relationship Management
· Represent the CEO professionally in all communications, building trusted relationships with clients, councillors, partner organisations, and vendors.
· Coordinate engagement with public sector bodies, including Medway Council.
