Full time, fixed term opportunity until June 2027 Provide a full suite of professional executive support services to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Base Salary $112,628 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity Step into a pivotal role at the heart of the University’s financial leadership. This position offers a full suite of professional executive support services to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), ensuring the office runs with precision, discretion, and efficiency. As the first point of contact for the CFO, you’ll embody professionalism and tact, safeguarding confidentiality while delivering client-focused service. Furthermore, you will need exceptional organisational skills, deep executive support experience, and sharp business acumen, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the high standards of the CFO’s office and meeting the needs of stakeholders across the University. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide broad, high level professional executive support to the CFO and key executives of the FCO leadership team monitors and manages WHS compliance on behalf of the CFO for the Finance portfolio, including portfolio compliance documents for audits drafts and reviews correspondence, formats reports and other documentation, and coordinates briefing notes on specific issues where required for the CFO effectively manage the general day to day office operations and administration activities builds and manage effective working rapport with key stakeholders and staff across the University determine the strategic or operational significance of incoming enquiries and correspondence, and identify the critical arising actions develop and maintain effective administrative systems and practices, including general office support, document and records management, ensuring that all practices are compliant with the University’s policies and procedures develop and maintain effective administrative systems and practices, including general office support, document and records management, ensuring that all practices are compliant with the University’s policies and procedures. About you tertiary qualifications - in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience excellent executive level verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service understanding maintenance of WHS and compliance in a large complex organisation ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work previous experience working in a large and complex, multi-faceted organisation proven time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with extensive diary management experience.
