Acting as a trusted partner, the EA manages a wide range of responsibilities, from executing the President’s directives to handling tasks independently, ensuring the smooth coordination of meetings, correspondence, events and engagements. The role requires sound judgment, strong prioritisation skills, and the ability to build and navigate relationships with senior University leaders, government bodies, and external partners. With an understanding of the University’s structure and the wider higher education landscape, the EA handles highly confidential matters with discretion and works closely with the Head of the President’s Office to deliver an efficient and effective operation and enable the President to focus on the University’s strategic priorities by providing reliable, proactive support.
