Description Position Summary The Executive Assistant to the President provides high-level strategic and administrative support to the President of Senior Home Companions, a mission-driven senior home care organization. This role is a trusted partner and extension of the President, ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and alignment with the company’s mission: to create active and engaged lives by providing personalized service and exceptional care with compassionate team members who go the extra mile, do the right thing, and care deeply. The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted advisor to the President with respect to setting priorities and decision making, providing input and developing systems for the President to use his time and talents on high-value activities, coordinating initiatives with key relationships, and strengthening connections between leadership, staff, caregivers, clients, and community partners. Key Responsibilities Provide perspective and discernment in evaluating strategies, decisions, and priorities. Assist the President in staying on track with quarterly initiatives. Support and organize experiences and events for groups/hosting, including board meetings Work with the President and other leaders to set long-range calendar and priorities Serve as the primary liaison between the President and internal/external stakeholders, including clients, board members, and community partners. Develops and maintains an automated system for key relationships, ensuring consistent movement. Manage the President’s calendar, scheduling, and travel arrangements, ensuring time is prioritized for the greatest impact on organizational goals. Prepare, review, and edit communications, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company’s mission and values. Support the planning, coordination, and follow-up of leadership team meetings, board meetings, and company-wide meetings. Track organizational projects, key deliverables, and action items, ensuring follow-through by providing reminders and updates to keep initiatives on schedule. Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion, sensitivity, and professionalism. Research and prepare briefing materials to support the President’s decision-making and external engagement. Manage executive gifting by selecting and coordinating appropriate, high-quality gifts for employees, clients, board members, and other key stakeholders to strengthen relationships and reflect organizational values. Assist with special projects, community events, and initiatives that celebrate employee contributions and strengthen company culture. Assist the President with special projects as time permits. Represent the President and the company with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff supporting senior-level executives, ideally within a mission-based organization. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration platforms (Google Meet, Teams, Zoom). Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders. High level of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality and integrity.
