Job Summary The Executive, Business Development is responsible for supporting the Commercial Division in achieving annual business targets by developing and executing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clients. This role focuses on identifying business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and promoting PTP's services to drive gateway cargo growth while ensuring high customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Manage and service key customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and timely response to enquiries, requests, and complaints. Identify and develop gateway cargo opportunities by providing suitable logistics solutions and conducting sales engagements with relevant stakeholders. Conduct market research and analysis on industry trends, customer profiles, and trade developments to support business growth strategies. Support business development initiatives, including project cargo, rail services, and marketing activities such as roadshows and events. Maintain and update customer and stakeholder databases, and prepare reports, statistics, and market intelligence for management review. Perform any other duties as assigned to support departmental objectives and commercial goals. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, Shipping, or Logistics industry. Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Melayu. Strong customer engagement, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office applications. Dynamic, proactive, and able to identify new business opportunities with a strong commercial mindset.
