About Wynn Al Marjan Island: On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. About the Position: Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Executive Chef Baker to join the resort’s Bakery team. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are: Ensure the quality levels of kitchen production and presentation are consistently maintained at the highest standard. Attend daily kitchen briefings with full participation. Demonstrate excellent product knowledge of all food items and special functions held at the resort. Review monthly forecasts and schedule resources accordingly. Follow all standard recipes precisely, meeting required standards and minimizing waste. Keep recipe manuals updated and aligned with standard kitchen operating procedures. Update recipe costs in line with menu changes, ensuring pricing supports consistent resort food cost targets. Participate actively in the service of special functions and resort-organized events. Coordinate functions and activities in collaboration with the Food & Beverage department. Conduct regular spot checks for expired items to maintain food safety standards. Label every food product according to hygiene requirements. Supervise physical asset inventories when required. Clean all equipment as scheduled or when necessary. Maintain and foster a working environment that reflects a strong sense of place and professionalism A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or cruise-ship environment with exposure to various catering styles and services (e.g. a la carte, buffet) is required A culinary school diploma is a plus Food Handlers Certification Required Shows integrity in all his/her dealings with others Evaluating details to find a solution can identify discrepancies and pinpoint causes to the issues Adapts well in a team environment, finds his/her role in a team About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or cruise-ship environment with exposure to various catering styles and services (e.g. a la carte, buffet) is required Food Handlers Certification Required Shows integrity in all his/her dealings with others Evaluating details to find a solution can identify discrepancies and pinpoint causes to the issues Adapts well in a team environment, finds his/her role in a team About Wynn Al Marjan Island’s Benefits: We offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
