Job Description

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and operationally strong Executive Chef to lead a high-volume, multi-outlet food service operation. The site services 1,000 to 2,000 covers daily across plated dining, buffets, a bistro, and catering. You will lead a well-established team with a focus on culinary excellence, menu innovation, and consistency.
Menu development is central to this role. You’ll oversee 3–4 active menus at a time, with seasonal updates three to four times a year, as well as frequent theme days and plated events. Quality, presentation, and consistency must remain exceptional across all service points.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead all culinary operations across multiple units and business lines, ensuring service excellence and consistency
  • Create, standardize, and update menus regularly to meet evolving client needs, including monthly changes and themed events
  • Oversee production, planning, procurement, food costing, inventory management, and waste reduction
  • Collaborate closely with the client and internal conference team to tailor menus and experiences for events, daily service, and dietary needs
  • Ensure exceptional food presentation, with consistent execution across all touchpoints
  • Coach, develop, and supervise culinary teams, maintaining a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation
  • Promote Sodexo’s sustainability and inclusion goals through sourcing, plant-based offerings, and allergen-aware design
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and Sodexo’s policies
