JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high volume restaurants, managing and developing people underneath them as well as implementing policies for consistently great food. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for all facets of the kitchen from food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality to scheduling, ordering, inventory, hiring/firing, SOPs and AORs. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences while ensuring operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in high volume dining, restaurant management, catering.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and menu planning.
  • Experience in inventory management and control processes.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred; additional certifications in food safety are a plus. Join our team as an Executive Chef where your culinary expertise will shine, leading our kitchen to create memorable dining experiences for our guests!
    This position is for an Executive Chef who is will become the Culinary director for all Four of our Agave Bandido locations. Orlando will be the home base where you will be the EC and spend 75% of your time. The other 25% of your time will be at one of the three other locations as the Culinary Director. The first 4 months would only be at Orlando as the Executive Chef, before changing to the hybrid role of Executive Chef and Culinary Director.
