DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Managing the kitchen, food production and service points at this prestigious co educational Independent day and boarding school
• The site caters for 1000 at lunch during the week plus breakfast, supper and weekend feeding for the onsite boarders (around 150 meals per sitting)
• The site has an onsite Nursery and prep school that are included with the site ( a new kitchen is being built to open in January- you will be part of the openings team
• You will oversee a team of 24 including 6 chefs.
• As the face of the food you will be responsible for making sure the food operation runs like clockwork
• Your remit includes people management & kitchen based and this includes; Stock ordering, hospitality menus, staff rotas and food presentation, basic HR and is client based.
• As the senior manager onsite you work with your team to provide a seamless dining experience for all
• The school is open term time, in the school holidays the space is open to familes and for events for holiday lets - only closing across christmas
• As Exececutive chef you will be being financially accountable for the unit attaining its GP/COGs
• Maintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene compliance at all times
