ABOUT THE PROPERTY The House Hotel Kvareli aims to be Kakheti’s leading destination, seamlessly blending Georgian wine culture, contemporary art, and authentic hospitality. Set within the region’s scenic natural beauty, the property is a 94-room luxury destination resort surrounded by expansive vineyards, landscaped gardens, and forest territory. The resort features a Georgian Grill Restaurant, multiple barbecue areas, bonfire and designated picnic spaces. Leisure and wellness facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with pool bar, a spa with indoor pool and sauna, a fully equipped gym, tennis and padel courts, and an outdoor Kids Club. Business and events infrastructure include the Ouspace business area, conference and meeting facilities, and the Kvareli Pavilion, a dedicated large-scale event venue accommodating up to 700 guests. The estate is further enhanced by vineyard areas, hiking and horse-riding trails, recreation zones, parking for up to 100 cars, bicycle and golf cart parking, and on-site staff accommodation. Location: Conveniently located in Kakheti, the property is 40 km from Telavi, 130 km from Tbilisi International Airport, and approximately 140 km from Tbilisi city centre, offering accessibility while remaining immersed in nature. ABOUT THE ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and presentation standards. Design and curate seasonal menus that celebrate local produce. Ensure compliance with hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards. Monitor food costs, inventory, and kitchen budgets to optimize efficiency. Source and build relationships with local producers, artisans, and suppliers. Apply sustainable cooking methods, reducing waste and maximizing efficiency. Curate personalized dining experiences for visitors, events, and special occasions. Collaborate closely with F&B, Events, and Wine teams to deliver unique guest experiences. Engage with guests and the local community through wine-pairing dinners, culinary workshops, vineyard picnics, and special events. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Proven experience as an Executive Chef in upscale hotels, resorts, or boutique properties, ideally within wine regions or culturally rich destinations. Strong knowledge of Georgian cuisine, regional flavors, and international culinary trends. Excellent leadership, organizational, and team-mentoring skills. Expertise in menu development, cost control, procurement, and supplier relationship management. Strong understanding of HACCP, hygiene, and global food safety standards.
