We are looking for an Executive Chef to take ownership of this exciting venture!

CERTIFICATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of secondary education
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Personal transportation
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: From $57,500.00 per year

Experience:

• Chef: 5 years (required)
• Kitchen Management: 2 years (required)

• Development and execution of feature menus
• Ordering and inventory management
• Menu costing and profitability analysis
• Hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff
• Manage labour costs and assist owners and management with future planning
• Supplier management and relationship building
• Management of kitchen cleanliness and health requirements
• Food safety compliance and reporting including temperature and waste logs
• Communicate with management and ownership clearly and productively
• Provide and maintain detailed costing reports
• Take ownership of equipment maintenance and general upkeep
• Develop systems and processes to execute the menu in a timely fashion
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner and lead by example
• Aid in the creation of positive and supportive culture
• Organize the line during busy periods of service
• Prep, cook and present quality product
