EXECUTIVE CHEF / KITCHEN MANAGER

Meal Prep Ottawa is looking for an experienced and driven Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. This is a key leadership role in a fast-growing food company dedicated to delivering healthy, high-quality meals to professionals, athletes, and families across Ottawa.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to perform at their best
  • Develop and maintain menus aligned with nutritional standards and customer preferences
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships to control costs and minimize waste
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
  • Work with ownership to plan new products, seasonal offerings, and process improvements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Strong culinary background with knowledge of healthy, performance-focused cuisine
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to balance creativity with operational discipline
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Passion for quality, innovation, and building strong kitchen teams
