This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef located in New Orleans, LA who is a craftsman and leader. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of progressive culinary management experience and be essential to ensure our guests enjoy an unforgettable and unique upscale dining experience. This highly skilled and passionate Chef will be responsible for creating innovative dishes that will delight our guests and elevate their dining experience.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily kitchen operations, creating and testing new recipes, managing kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining food quality and presentation. The Executive Chef will also be involved in menu planning, inventory management, and working closely with restaurant management to ensure a harmonious and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a diverse menu emphasizing authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and creative presentations.
  • Ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation in accordance with standard recipes and specifications.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels, and reducing waste.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing strategies, special events, and promotions that showcase the restaurant’s culinary offerings.

  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate contemporary culinary methods and innovative approaches to traditional recipes.
  • Handle special dietary requests and customize dishes for guests with specific food allergies or preferences.
  • Build relationships with local suppliers to source the highest quality ingredients.
  • Provide exceptional leadership and foster a culture of respect, creativity, and continuous improvement within the kitchen team.
