We are currently seeking an Executive Chef to join our vibrant team at Radisson Blu Hotel, Tromsø. As the Executive Chef, you bring a distinct blend of culinary excellence, visionary leadership, and a fervor for crafting exceptional dining experiences. Tasks: Responsible for staffing in line with activity and occupancy Implement and execute routines and standards and make sure that we uphold IK-mat, HACCP and HMS. Assist on the daily activity and be a motivational and positive leader. Develop menus to departments and events Reduce food waste In charge of ordering and stock control As an integral part of the management team, you will manage budgets, forecast and inventory, whilst working proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth running of the kitchen department. Qualifications Proven experience of managing a Kitchen team with banquets and high volumes Excellent technical cooking skills A creative problem-solver with an eye for detail Passionate about creating extraordinary service Ability to work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction Solid understanding of kitchen economics, staffing and operations Strong verbal communication skills in English. Scandinavian language can be an advantage. You are flexible in regard to working hours Ability to organize, delegate and make decisions, as well as work efficiently in a punctual and structured manner.
