Job Description About the Role We’re looking for a bold, creative, and commercially minded Executive Chef to join our team for the high season, May through September. As a key member of the hotel leadership team, you will drive all culinary operations and experiences, ensuring every dish and dining moment reflects the hotel’s luxury lifestyle ethos. This seasonal role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact during a high-energy period, with potential for longer-term opportunities within Ennismore’s portfolio beyond the season. What you’ll do... Pre-Opening & Seasonal Launch Collaborate with the F&B Director, brand, and culinary teams to design innovative menus that blend local ingredients with global lifestyle trends. Recruit, onboard, and inspire your brigade, ensuring operational excellence and a strong team culture. Oversee kitchen setup, equipment, OS&E, and compliance with licensing and safety standards. Work with Marketing & PR to create memorable culinary experiences and highlight the property’s gastronomic story. Operations & Guest Experience Lead daily kitchen operations across all F&B outlets, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and creative culinary delivery. Monitor food cost, margin, and KPIs to maintain profitability while driving culinary innovation. Ensure hygiene, safety, and operational standards are consistently met. Maintain the highest quality of culinary output, presentation, and guest satisfaction. Team Leadership Inspire, motivate, and mentor a high-performing seasonal kitchen team. Foster a collaborative, creative, and accountable culture in line with Ennismore values. Implement development opportunities and succession planning for team members. Ensure professional standards in grooming, conduct, and kitchen communication. Brand & Strategy Position the hotel as a culinary destination in the North Coast, delivering experiences that reflect both local culture and global luxury lifestyle trends. Innovate menus, culinary events, and guest interactions to enhance the property’s lifestyle offering. Collaborate with Brand and Marketing teams to tell the hotel’s culinary story across physical and digital platforms. Facilities & Support Ensure all kitchens, storage, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest levels of cleanliness, efficiency, and safety. Work closely with Engineering, F&B, and People & Culture to ensure smooth daily operations and team well-being.
