EXECUTIVE CHEF PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 year as an Executive Chef or 3+ years as an Exec Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine in chef-driven, ingredient driven concepts/properties
  • Luxury micro-boutique hotel, resort, or lodge experience
  • Michelin key a plus
  • Comfort with a wide range of cuisines and excited to create new menus accommodating tastes, requests and dietary preferences/restrictions
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Expert knowledge managing inventory, and cost controls
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays

Wyoming adjacent luxe wilderness retreat is seeking a talented Seasonal Executive Chef to lead the culinary program. Looking for an organized, guest-minded talent, adaptable by nature chef who thrives at the helm of a tight knit team. A great opportunity for a chef who enjoys creating approachable, yet refined cuisine showcasing seasonal ingredients and providing a beautiful experience for guests.
Plenty of outdoor living activities. Of note, this is a SEASONAL role with housing!

EXECUTIVE CHEF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Surpass guest expectations creating thoughtful, exciting dining experiences for guests paying mind to needs/requests
  • Ensure all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Source, develop and further existing relationships with local sources where possible
  • Proactively manage costs and budgets, including ordering, inventory and other admin items
  • Lead and mentor a strong team, including scheduling, hiring, and training/development
  • Ensure best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
