OVERVIEW

We are looking for an Executive Chef to join and lead our kitchen team at the Welborne Commons! We are a small (but busy), full-service restaurant that takes pride in serving delicious food and drinks to our awesome local community. Our team works closely together to deliver a high standard of hospitality to our guests in a warm and welcoming environment.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques and knowledge of various cooking methods.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and design creative menus and weekly specials that reflects both our restaurant and our guests.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage our Kitchen team to include scheduling, training and mentorship
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Implement cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continually enhance culinary offerings.
