Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest level of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. If you have a passion for food and strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Versed in interviewing and hiring kitchen staff
- Maintain and implementing all standard operating procedures and policies in the kitchen are being met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food handling techniques
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Overseeing staff schedules
- Ensure all food products meet quality taste and presentation standards
- Managing food inventory, waste, controlling food and labor cost and contributing to the restraurant financial planning
-Demonstrating a high level of culinary skill, knowledge of cooking methods and leadership
-Creating and innovating menus and recipes while assuring they align with the Wilma's Brand and quality standards
Experience:
- Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Experience in menu planning, costing, and inventory management is preferred
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or hospitality management is a plus
