Bancroft is currently seeking an Executive Clinical Director for our Education Services. Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities, and those in need of neurological rehabilitation. We provide a full continuum of highly effective services, including special education schools, vocational training, day and residential programs, both on-campus and in the community, and in-home and outpatient rehabilitation services. The Executive Clinical Director for Education Services is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that directly impact operations, activities, and assigned staff of program sites within direct areas of responsibility. This position is ultimately accountable for and ensures maximum provision of care to persons served regarding daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and interaction with others.
Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Develops and implements the treatment models and outcome measures, policies and procedures that directly impact operations, activities, and assigned staff of program site(s) within direct areas of responsibility. Is ultimately accountable for and ensures maximum provision of care to persons served regarding daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and interaction with others.

EDUCATION:

Graduate Degree in Education, Psychology, Nursing or related field required.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of ten years of related experience to preferably include a minimum of three years operating in a management capacity. A minimum of five years of experience working with people with disabilities and neurological challenges required. Principal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assures program operates in compliance with a New Jersey Department of Education and operating standards, as well as Bancroft policies and procedures. Ensures strict compliance with Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations, Department of Labor (DOL) regulations (if applicable), and applicable state/local/federal regulations at all times.
  • Provides vision and leadership for clinical strategy and oversees clinical outcomes. Devising and communicating a comprehensive vision for the service line that is aligned to the strategic plan and ensuring operations advancethe strategic, tactical and operational goals of the organization.
  • Develops and oversees the treatment philosophy and model, and clinical best practices. Provides critical clinical treatment information to inform annual financial operating budget, and supports operational leaders to ensureattainment of contribution margin for areas of direct responsibility. Oversees all costs incurred and efficiency of spending for assigned sites within areas of responsibility. Ensures program sites operate within the establishedfiscal budget. Reviews and approves purchase requisitions and recommends purchase of major equipment and capital items.
  • Develops, implements, and oversees policies and procedures regarding the admission process for direct areas of responsibility, the effective transitioning to discharge sites, and the screening process of prospective persons served toensure the appropriateness of placement of individuals entering or leaving programs. Participates in Admissions decisions, making the final decision of suitability of a program for an applicant, as necessary.
  • Develops, implements, and oversees performance improvement systems, risk management systems, and value propositions for assigned Program sites to ensure an overall efficient and effective operations. Provides direction todirect reports in the identification and resolution of problems, enhancement of existing systems and procedures, etc., and the attainment of goals within areas of responsibility.
