Executive - Cutting (Based at MAS Bodyline - Horana) The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings delivers end-to-end design, innovation and manufacturing solutions across lingerie, swimwear and next-to-skin categories. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure 100% on-time catering for production demand through effective Kanban follow-up, maintaining required quality levels to avoid any disruptions to sewing operations. Identify critical points of new products and styles during pre-production and address operational risks to minimize fabric wastage and production disruptions. Maximize utilization of machinery, equipment, and other resources by identifying similar styles and combining production orders to optimize productivity. Introduce and optimize new laying and cutting methods for different styles while maximizing layer count to improve cutting capacity and efficiency. Manage cutting operations within the approved budget and implement measures to eliminate departmental cost of failure, including MRV and overtime. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within cutting operations using lean principles to reduce lead time, lower WIP levels, and optimize headcount. Maintain positive employee relations within the cutting team to support motivation, productivity, and a harmonious working environment. Ensure full compliance with organizational, legal, and customer standards while promoting a safe, healthy, and secure workplace, and facilitate skill development of subordinates. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Physical Science or any discipline from a recognized university. 2 years’ cutting experience in apparel sector. Strong people management and communication skills

Responsibilities
