As the Executive Director of Human Resources and CHRO, you will serve as a key advisor to the President and executive leadership team, leading HR strategy and operations across all locations. This high-impact role is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, policy development, HR systems, change management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
As an executive team member reporting directly to the President, the Executive Director of Human Resources and CHRO will guide and empower a dedicated HR team while shaping people-centered programs that align with VU’s mission, vision, and values. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR or other HR certification preferred
• Demonstrated success leading strategic HR initiatives in complex organizations
• Deep understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in higher education or public sector environments is a plus
