Description

Rezolute is a late-stage rare disease company focused on significantly improving outcomes for individuals with hypoglycemia caused by hyperinsulinism (HI). Our antibody therapy, RZ358 (ersodetug), is designed to treat all forms of HI and has shown substantial benefit in clinical trials and real-world use for the treatment of congenital hyperinsulinism (cHI) and tumor hyperinsulinism (tHI).
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director, Channel Strategy & Patient Services to join a dynamic Market Access and Patient Services team, and serve as business owner, and day to day point of contact for our HUB services, specialty pharmacy (SP) and distribution channel partners, and will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing a comprehensive Patient and Caregiver support services offering. As a member of the Rezolute team, you will have the opportunity to impact change while playing a vital role in building and scaling our organization to achieve regulatory approvals and commercial success of our drug candidates.
Essential functions will include engagement and alignment with key internal company stakeholders and external vendors, with an emphasis on ensuring seamless patient access to Ersodetug. The Executive Director will deliver key Rezolute Patient Services offerings and ensure execution of all patient referrals and product distribution, with the objective of adding to the provider / patient brand experience.
It is critical that the person has past Commercial rare disease launch, HUB, and specialty infused drug distribution experience, and can identify and drive innovative initiatives around US Market / patient access strategy, patient referral and adherence management, patient affordability, KPI identification and SLA performance management, process and programs, and patient / caregiver digital customer engagement models.
The position is based in the Redwood City, CA and will interact with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, Patient Advocacy, Legal and Compliance teams.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; sciences or business preferred, MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of overall industry experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals (i.e. market access and reimbursement, sales, sales management, marketing, training, or sales operations).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Market Access Trade (i.e., 3PL, SP, SD), and/or Supply Chain (3PL) distribution, HUB and patient support responsibility, with either direct or supporting responsibility around Government Pricing / reporting, regulations, analytics and insights.
  • Experience with rare/orphan drugs is required. Therapeutic area and infused drug experience is a plus.
  • Product launch experience is required, and company start-up experience is preferred.
  • Proven understanding of key revenue recognition reports that are garnered from the supply chain (3PL, SP, SD) and key data integration partners.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with working knowledge of government pricing practices (calculations methodologies, healthcare programs, and supporting regulations), and trade systems and processes.
  • Development and management of a functional budget and ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve strategic patient support objectives.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to a changing environment, implement creative solutions to complex problems, and ability to function in a project leadership role.
  • Leads with strong business acumen and a compliance mindset.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships, including direct collaboration with vendors and other third parties.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Passionate about patients and building a new commercial organization.
  • Advanced Virtual / Teams, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

WORK LOCATION AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position is located in our Redwood City, California office.
  • Domestic and occasional international travel will be required from time to time as needed (approximately 50%).
    Rezolute (RZLT) currently anticipates the base salary for the ExecutiveDirector, Channel Strategy & Patient Services role could range from $290,000 to $320000 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s geographical location and their qualifications for the role, including education and experience. This position will also be eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan (depending, in part, on company and individual performance and at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis). The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on current market survey data and the qualifications, education, experience and geographical location of the selected candidate.
