This leadership position is focused on overseeing the development of transformative projects that will redefine experiences in the region. As the Executive Director - Development, you will lead a talented team of professionals in managing the entire development process—from initial concept through to project delivery. Your strategic thinking and hands-on approach will be vital in ensuring that each project aligns with our vision and meets the highest standards of quality while fostering sustainable practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy that aligns with Qiddiya's long-term goals and vision. Lead the planning and execution of various development projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including government entities, community organizations, and industry partners. Oversee financial planning for projects, including budget management and resource allocation, to maximize profitability and impact. Mentor and guide development teams, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, sustainability guidelines, and safety standards throughout the development process. Regularly report to senior management regarding project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations. Advocate for community engagement and feedback in the development process to ensure alignment with local needs and expectations. Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. At least 15 years of experience in real estate development or project management, with a proven ability to lead large-scale projects. Extensive knowledge of the entertainment and leisure sector, and successful experience in directing complex developments. Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
