About Wynn Al Marjan Island: Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.  About the Position: Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Executive Director – Facilities and Engineering Management to join the resort’s Facilities and Engineering Management Administration team. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are: * Lead all commissioning, functional testing, and systems validation activities, working closely with contractors, consultants, and the construction team to achieve building services handover to an operational standard. * Own the pre-opening mobilisation plan — developing, sequencing, and executing all readiness activities across Facilities, Engineering, and ancillary portfolios. * Direct the development of MEP cause-and-effect scenario documentation and lead role-play and simulation training for the engineering and FM teams. * Establish the operating governance framework: policies, procedures, safe systems of work, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response protocols, prior to resort opening. * Lead the procurement and mobilisation of outsourced service providers — developing scope of service documents, overseeing tendering, and executing contracts. * Direct procurement of tools, workshop machinery, spare parts, materials, consumables, and operational plant required for opening-day readiness. * Own Business Continuity Planning during the transition — ensuring critical systems have documented response procedures and trained personnel before guest arrival. * Lead the build-out of the FM and Engineering organisational structure — driving recruitment pipelines and onboarding programs to ensure full manning ahead of opening. * Oversight of CAFM system implementation for the property incorporating Conditioned based and reactive maintenance strategy and programs. * Act as the SVP's deputy across the entire Facilities & Engineering portfolio throughout the pre-opening phase, representing the division with all internal and external stakeholders. * Oversee the pre-opening training calendar working with department heads to validate that all team members are trained, certified, and operationally ready prior to resort launch. * Daily Operations * Direct and provide commercial leadership with respect to outsourced services contracts and capital works project contracts. * Provide oversight of contract efficiency, enhance contract scope of performance, and direct governance procedures. * Technically support and provide engineered insight in resolving building services, mechanical, and electrical engineering matters. About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: * Mechanical Engineering — HVAC, chilled water systems, district cooling, pumps, ventilation, smoke control * In-depth knowledge of integrated building control systems: BMS, SCADA, BAS * 11kV emergency power generation and 11kV electrical distribution including cascaded discrimination * LV and ELV electrical infrastructure * Refrigeration and Chiller Plant * Plumbing, Drainage, and Hydraulic/Hydronic Systems * Fire Life Safety systems * Chilled, Hot, and Potable water networks * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Construction (Mechanical or Electrical discipline preferred) * PMP certification * Facilities Management qualifications (e.g., IFMA, BIFM/IWFM) * Asset Management knowledge aligned with ISO 55001 * Language: Excellent verbal and written English About Wynn Al Marjan Island’s Benefits: We offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
