JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of online and offline consumer marketing experience, including significant experience in performance marketing.
  • Deep knowledge of of omni-channel marketing.
  • Proven track record of driving demand generation and pipeline growth.
  • Passion for movies, television, and the entertainment industry.
  • Expertise in analyzing data, trends, events.
  • Proven ability and flexibility to steer in a market that is changing constantly and rapidly.
  • Experience managing media relationships with publishers, networks, third party vendors, and agencies.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects.
  • Full Fluency in English and Spanish are required (written/spoken). Portuguese is a plus.
  • Office suite, Ability to create decks and present in person and virtually.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree is required with emphasis in Business, Marketing and/or Communications. MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

The Executive Director of Growth and Performance Marketing will support the Sony Pictures Entertainment and Television (SPE/SPT) in Latin America including Brazil. They will develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative approaches. The Executive Director will define Growth Marketing strategies and tactics for all Sony Pictures properties in the region and will work directly with the CMO and manage a team of growth marketing professionals focused on performance campaigns that will generate revenue acceleration through data-driven strategies and innovation. A successful Executive Director will have a proven track record of scaling products, a deep understanding of growth marketing principles, and strong leadership and communication skills. This person should possess a blend of technical and analytical skills to meet growth objectives. Their responsibilities will include hiring and mentoring a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance. They need a solid understanding of data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, and Python to extract insights from large datasets. Technical proficiency in areas like A/B testing, web development, content, and marketing automation is essential for implementing growth experiments and measuring their impact. The Executive Director should also be comfortable with data visualization tools to present findings effectively and make data-driven recommendations. They should have a passion for experimentation and continuous improvement, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
