Our Commercial organization leads our global sales and marketing strategies around the world. Our integrated team continues to solidify BioMarin’s commercial presence in the United States and Europe and is rapidly growing in other regions, such as Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Job Summary
The Head of Global Pricing for BioMarin will lead a team of pricing experts utilizing their collective expertise in pricing analytics, healthcare systems, innovative pricing models and international pricing regulations to develop and govern Global pricing strategies. The Head of Global Pricing will work in collaboration with our Global Access Leads, US Leads and other internal Commercial business partners and in alignment with our company’s global access and corporate objectives. The selected candidate will support the implementation of such strategies by Country Access Teams. The role will be crucial in driving our mission to make life-changing therapies accessible to patients worldwide at prices that represent their value appropriately and that enable us to develop future groundbreaking medicines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Pricing Strategies:
Ensure alignment of pricing strategies with the overall business objectives and market conditions.
Analytics and Insights
Conduct in-depth pricing analytics to understand market dynamics and competitive landscape that allow us to set up prices for our medicines in alignment with their value to patients, healthcare professionals and healthcare systems around the world.
Monitor and analyze pricing performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
