POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Director, HR Solutions Management is a strategic partner and key advisor to the SVP, HR Talent & Development and HRBPs supporting business segments and functions across the enterprise. This role is ultimately accountable for guiding the alignment of HR/people strategies with our organizational goals, including overseeing day-to-day HRBP operations/management practices, leading key cross-functional initiatives, and fostering collaboration and best practice sharing across HR COEs and the HRBP community. With a focus on strategic business partnerships, this role plays a pivotal part in enhancing organizational effectiveness, driving change management, and promoting a positive workplace culture.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years Business and/or Talent Management or Talent Acquisition or Human Resources experience
  • Successful candidates will possess the following competencies with varying mastery levels –
  • Strategic thinking – ability to align HR strategies with overall business goals and prioritize initiatives that drive long-term organizational goals.
  • Business acumen – understanding of the enterprise – internal and external environment factors, industry trends and the impact on people practices.
  • Leadership skills – capable of indirectly leading HR teams, influencing stakeholders and providing strategic guidance to HR leaders.
  • Project management – proficient in leading and managing HR projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Cross functional collaboration – ability to model and foster collaboration between HRBP community, HR COEs, fellow COS peers, and business areas to address complex issues and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Communication – strong verbal and written communication skills to convey HR strategies, initiatives, and changes to stakeholders within HR and business
  • Data Analytics – proficiency in HR metrics and analytics to provide data driven insights for decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Confidentiality and discretion – trusted advisor to the SS CPOs/leadership team, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience with Budget Management

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with HRBP to align HR strategies with the overall business objectives and provide HR insights to support decision-making.
  • Lead/support/oversee strategic business initiatives and consulting, from development through successful execution, in collaboration with the HRBP
  • Serve as a key advisor to HRBP leadership offering strategic guidance, insights, and support in addressing talent challenges and opportunities.
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee daily HRBP operations in collaboration with leaders in SS HRBP community and drive agenda development, planning and communications for management practices (e.g., team meetings, offsites, operation planning and strategy sessions, etc.).
  • Establish deep cross-functional relationships throughout HR teams to ensure solutions and initiatives are effectively designed and implemented.
  • Establish and monitor HR metrics relevant to driving business talent goals, providing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate effective communication with HRBP community and across the HR organization, playing a crucial role in change management initiatives.
  • Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.
  • Support the professional development of the HRBP team through mentoring, coaching and learning initiatives.
  • Work closely with HRBP leaders to enhance employee engagement initiatives, contributing to a positive, equitable and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Serve as liaison with teams and leaders regarding project updates, proposals, and planning.
  • Provides insights and support with financial/budget matters and businesses cases.
  • Supporting CVS Health in attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse and inclusive consumer-centric workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live, and serve.
