EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Location: Vancouver, BC (onsite 3-4 days/week) Schedule: 40 hours/week (including occasional evening/weekends)
Inner Hope Youth Ministries is seeking a passionate and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization in fulfilling its mission to journey alongside youth and their families in East Vancouver, nurturing hope, belonging, and growth. Through support, life skills development, spiritual care, and housing, we work together to create a real and lasting impact in our community. The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in advancing this mandate, ensuring that Inner Hope continues to be a place of support, empowerment, and positive change.
Rooted in the values of Christian faith, committed relationships, loving community, integrity and reconciliation - and a deep understanding that hope and healing is experienced through relationship - the work of Inner Hope focuses on five Calls to Action drawn from the 2015 Truth and Reconciliation Commission report: (1) We journey with parents and extended family as they seek to strengthen family relationships and grow in their capacity to care for their children; (2) We work with youth and young adults to further their education and gain the training required for their employment goals; (3) We support families to access health care and develop a healthy lifestyle to reduce the gap in health outcomes; (4) We support the community to break the cycle of over-representation of Indigenous people in custody; (5) We support churches and Christian organizations to recognize the church’s contribution to oppression of Indigenous people in Canada and to work towards positive reconciliation.
The Executive Director, reporting to the Board of Directors, leads a staff team responsible for program delivery, community support, fundraising, human resources, communications, bookkeeping, and volunteer coordination.

Compensation: $82,368 – $92,664 annually - the final salary within this range will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience.
