Job Description About the role: You will drive an ambitious strategy to scale Redcare’s third-party marketplace across our selected markets, strengthening its role as a key growth pillar. As part of a fast-growing and publicly listed company, the marketplace is already contributing meaningfully to our commercial performance—and its role in driving profitability and strategic growth is set to become even more central. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will own the marketplace strategy, operational model, and commercial success. With full P&L responsibility and a team of 52 colleagues (including 6 direct reports), you'll oversee such areas as Marketplace, Business Development, and Customer Success. Your goal will be to turn today’s early-stage setup into a high-performing platform business: seller-centric, tech-enabled, operationally excellent, and deeply embedded in our wider healthcare offering. About your tasks: Define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for Redcare’s marketplace, ensuring it evolves into a scalable engine aligned with overall company ambitions. Improve commercial KPIs through data and experimentation, using analytics to steer conversion, ROI, seller retention, and customer satisfaction. Professionalize seller management at scale including, but not limited to, seller lifecycle management, scalable service infrastructure, setting frameworks for seller segmentation, incentives, and performance tracking. Own and evolve the B2C and B2B dimensions of the platform business, including defining requirements for a more robust merchant experience. Collaborate closely with Tech and Product teams to shape the tools and platforms needed to support sellers—from integrations and analytics to onboarding flows and automation. Drive offer development in partnership with Category Management, Retail Media and Marketing, ensuring a compelling customer proposition that balances quality, price, and availability. Actively lead and develop a high-potential international team, raising the professional bar and building the next generation of platform experts. Qualifications About you: You bring 8+ years of senior leadership experience in large e-commerce, digital platform, or third-party marketplace environments. You’ve led organisations of 40+ people, steered strategy alongside senior leadership and board members, and taken full ownership of P&L and business outcomes. You have a proven track record of building and scaling B2C marketplaces, ideally across multiple European markets. You’ve successfully grown and retained complex seller ecosystems, developing strong commercial partnerships and scalable performance frameworks. You hold a degree in business, economics or a related field. You communicate fluently in English; proficiency in German is a plus. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, navigate ambiguity with confidence, and build alignment across diverse, cross-functional teams.
