About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director, Finance Product Controller supporting the CIB Markets Division. This is a senior level individual contributor role is responsible for Product Control support for our Structured Products Group and Global Secured Trading businesses. In this role, you will: Review, analyze, and provide credible challenge to daily Profit & Loss (P&L) across all reporting views, including Comprehensive, Buy/Hold (“Clean”), Volcker, and Front Office risk‑based attribution, by developing a strong understanding of performance drivers, market movements, risk exposures, funding impacts, deal activity, and valuation changes Review, approve, and oversee P&L adjustments across all P&L types, ensuring accuracy, transparency, appropriate governance, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards, including analysis and monitoring of Volcker metrics Deliver high‑quality P&L and balance sheet commentary to senior management, clearly explaining key performance drivers, risks, unusual trends, and emerging issues Review large or complex transactions to ensure appropriate booking, valuation, accounting treatment, and reasonable pricing relative to market standards Investigate and resolve P&L issues and oversee the month‑end P&L close process, including general ledger reconciliations and detailed balance sheet substantiation Maintain accurate, well‑documented policies and procedures; continuously evaluate and enhance the control environment to support internal controls, audit readiness, and alignment with industry best practices Partner closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Compliance, Front Line Control Officers, Independent Price Validation, Market and Credit Risk, Group Controllers, and offshore Product Control teams (including India) to ensure consistent execution, strong controls, and timely delivery Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Experience working with Capital Markets products (Fixed Income Securities, Derivatives, Securities Financing Transactions) Strong knowledge of P&L reporting, including P&L attribution, risk, balance sheet controls, and financial governance Advanced degree or certification (MBA, CFA, CPA, MS, or equivalent) Familiarity with Wells Fargo Securities systems a plus (Broadridge_GPTM, Calypso) Knowledge of Wells Fargo reporting systems and internal databases (i.e. IRIS, Hyperion Essbase) Advanced desktop programming skills (Access/VBA/Excel) Job Expectations: This position offers a hybrid work schedule requiring onsite presence at the listed location(s) This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Posting End Date: 12 Apr 2026 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
