Description:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Cybersecurity Business Development Executive to drive business growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the cybersecurity sector, as well as fostering strong relationships with clients to support long-term partnerships. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions to effectively promote and sell our services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the cybersecurity or IT industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, trends, and industry challenges.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities and develop long-term client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to business development.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with various teams (e.g., sales, marketing, technical).
- Familiarity with CRM tools and business development strategies.
- Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field .
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience working with enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions, Managed Security Operation Center (Managed SOC), Managed Security Services (MSS), DLP, GRC,endpoint protection, network security, vulnerability management, and data protection.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and how they impact cybersecurity solutions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cybersecurity industry, targeting potential clients across various sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, IT managers, and cybersecurity professionals.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue by selling cybersecurity solutions such as threat detection, risk management, compliance services, and IT security infrastructure.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the cybersecurity domain.
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to create tailored solutions and proposals that meet the needs of potential clients.
- Present and demonstrate cybersecurity products and services to clients, articulating the value and benefits of the offerings.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the end-to-end sales process to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and attending industry events and conferences.
- Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and sales forecasts to management on a regular basis.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to effectively position the company’s offerings in the market.
