Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead the development and implementation of strategies and tactics to achieve an excellent product experience for owners of Hyundai and Genesis brand vehicles in the United States as measured by various indicators such as Consumer Reports, JD Power Initial Quality, Vehicle Dependability & CSI, Warranty problem rate and various external and internal product reviews. From HMNA/HMA role, provide guidance and support for the similar groups at Hyundai/Genesis Canada and Hyundai Motor Mexico where opportunities and needs arise.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Master’s Degree a plus.
  • Fifteen or more years of automotive engineering, manufacturing, quality, service experience.
  • Management of distributed & technical workforce.
  • Five or more years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Quality method expertise.
  • High degree of strategy development to tactical/operational capability.
  • High degree of cross functional coordination (HMC QD, HATCI, NAQC, Mfg., Sales, Region, Dealers, etc.).
  • High degree of organizational development.
  • Computer proficiency (Excel, power-point, database reporting, etc.).
  • Understanding of dealership operations
