JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Knowledge of government and private foundation contracts.
2. Knowledge and Experience in a non-profit environment with advocacy for special populations.
3. Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team in order to accomplish complex tasks in a professional, detail oriented work environment.
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization and as a team member.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal oversight or direction.
6. Skilled at using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
7. Ability to identify complex problems and interpret data in order to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions for meaningful change in the Institute’s operation.
8. Ability to act as the Institute’s immediate human resources contact with knowledge of employment regulations and human resource practices.
9. Ability to perform cost benefit analysis regarding institute objectives.
10. Ability to create value with limited resources and implement cost effective solutions.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to refine complex concepts into manageable information to support the Institute’s message.
12. Ability to tactfully negotiate with groups of interdisciplinary individuals of varying ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
13. Ability to organize and motivate employees to effectuate the Institute’s goals.
14. Experience in organizing and administering Institutional Research Programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Provide overall administrative direction in the Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine (INIM) and will establish partnerships for donors, representing (INIM) at various functions to promote and nurture relationships with donors.
