Managed by St. Andrew’s Resources for Seniors System, The Sarah Community, a vital part of the SSM Health network, is a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care community nestled in Bridgeton, MO. Our mission is to serve seniors at all levels of care, providing a nurturing and supportive environment. With over 200 dedicated staff members, we care for nearly 300 residents across our interconnected campus.

Our community comprises four buildings:

  • 204 Independent and Assisted Living Apartments: Offering a vibrant and engaging lifestyle.
  • Six Skilled Nursing Neighborhoods: Providing both rehabilitation and long-term care for up to 105 residents.

While we warmly welcome individuals of all faiths, The Sarah Community has deep Catholic roots. It was founded by five orders of nuns who, in collaboration with St. Andrew’s, whom employees the Executive Director, established a loving home for their aging Sisters.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Executive Director, you will:

  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee all programs to align with Board policy, federal, state, and local regulations, including the STARSS Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide guidance in planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of program services.
  • Census Development: Oversee the sales and admission teams to continuously grow and maintain census.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for strategically managing resources, optimizing revenue streams, and ensuring fiscal discipline.
  • Liaison Role: Act as an on-site liaison between The Sarah Community Campus, the Board of Directors, and SSM Health.
  • Oversight Responsibilities:
  • Clinical and Non-Clinical Services: Ensure resident well-being.
  • Staff Development: Nurture professional growth.
  • Human Resources: Foster a supportive work environment for our staff.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold all necessary requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Missouri Licensed Nursing Home Administrator:
  • Must hold this licensure or have the ability to obtain the licensure within 3 months.
  • Leadership Experience (Minimum of three (3) years in one of the following fields):
  • Senior Living Management/Administration
  • Long-Term Care or Assisted Living Administration
  • Healthcare/Hospital Administration
  • Hotel Management or Similar Hospitality Field
  • Educational Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree is required with less than five (5) years of combined experience.
  • A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
